
Barranc Aigüeta de Barbaruéns Integral
The Aigüeta de Barbaruéns Integral is a highly aquatic canyon requiring a full wetsuit, located near Barbaruéns. The approach takes 1.5 hours from the village, following a path that eventually joins a 4x4 track. A shorter approach is possible with a 4x4 vehicle. Check the Ebro-Esera flow for water levels. The descent features nine rappels, the longest being 13m, along with numerous downclimbs and short toboggans. The first rappel of 13m offers a choice between rappelling or a careful toboggan into a shallow pool. Anchors are well-equipped with chemical bolts. There is one escape route available. A single 30m rope is sufficient. The return walk to the car takes 45 minutes.
