Barranc de Padral
Barranc de Padral is a dry canyon with three rappels, the longest being 50m, requiring two 60m ropes. The approach is a quick 5 minutes from the T-311 KM36.5 parking, following a faint path to the first rappel. No wetsuit is needed. The first rappel is a 35m descent from two parabolts on the right, passing through a small cavity. After a short walk, bypass a pool to the right, where a parabolt allows for a handrail. The second rappel is an exposed 25m descent from two parabolts with chain, leading below a hanging pool with a cable life-line. The third rappel is an impressive 50m drop from two parabolts with chain and a cable handrail. The return takes 40 minutes, exiting right onto a path above a stone wall, then turning left twice to follow a neighboring dry streambed back to the parking. The canyon is equipped with parabolts and cables.
