The lower section of Barranc de Sant Pere is a short, beginner-friendly canyon. The 25-minute approach from the Font de la Figuereta parking involves crossing the road and a steep but short climb on a marked trail. The descent features five rappels, the longest being 10m, and several small slides and downclimbs. The first rappel/slide leads to a shallow pool, with an optional handline. Anchors are chemical bolts, some with chains and rings. Full wetsuits are recommended. The return walk is a quick 10 minutes. This canyon is suitable for those new to the sport or looking for a short, enjoyable outing.
