Barranco Barrosa
The Barranco Barrosa is an aquatic canyon with 6 rappels, the longest being 16 m, requiring two 20 m ropes and a full wetsuit. The approach takes 20 minutes, the descent 2 hours, and the return 5 minutes. It is equipped with parabolts, and some anchors use trees. Access is from the A-138, with parking available before or after the bridge crossing the Barrosa canyon. The descent begins with an 8 m rappel, avoiding a waterfall. A small downclimb with a fixed rope offers an optional jump. The second rappel, 10 m, can be a toboggan if water levels permit, but caution is needed due to a shallow pool. The third rappel is 16 m, descending alongside the main cascade, with multiple anchor options. The canyon joins the Barranco de Salcorz, where most water is channeled. Escape routes are available.
