Torrent de Berrós Superior e Inferior

The Torrent de Berrós Superior e Inferior offers a v3-a1-II descent near La Guingueta d’Àneu, suitable for those with some experience. The 25-minute approach involves crossing the road and a dam, then following a track for 500m past the lower section access to reach the upper section. The upper section includes three rappels: a short, slippery 6m drop, an 8m rappel with a log in the cascade, and another 8m rappel. These are interspersed with short downclimbs and toboggans. Anchors are excellent, using chemical bolts and parabolts. After the upper section, more downclimbs and toboggans lead to an escape route, which also serves as the access point for the optional lower section. Water levels are generally low, with shallow pools. A full wetsuit is recommended. The return walk is a quick 10 minutes.
