Barranco Boca de Infierno Combinación
The Barranco Boca de Infierno, near Siresa, is a highly aquatic canyon requiring a full wetsuit and a 20m rope. It's crucial to check the river's flow as high water can make it dangerous. The approach is minimal, just 1 minute from the car park to the river. The descent begins with a section of downclimbs, toboggans, and jumps. The first rappel is a 3m downclimbable section with a chemical bolt and two spits. A 7m rappel follows, reached via a long handline, leading to a large wedged boulder. Another 7m rappel leads to a deep pool, where jumping is not advised due to a submerged car. The final 7m rappel can be jumped diagonally to avoid the main flow. There are no escape routes.
