Las Buitreras, or Guadiaro, near El Colmenar, is a highly aquatic canyon with a 1-hour approach. Park at the hydroelectric plant, then drive 5km on MA-9300 to the upper parking. The approach involves walking a track, crossing private land (permission needed), and following cairns and white marks to the GR-141 trail. Entry to the canyon is via an optional 60m free-hanging rappel from the Puente de los Alemanes, or by rappelling from a tree into the riverbed. The descent includes four rappels, the longest being 13m. The first 5m rappel has anchors on both sides; use the left to avoid the main water flow if high. The second 6m rappel also has a left-side handline for high flow. After passing logs, you reach the Puente de los Alemanes again, and then a siphon. This canyon is committing with no escapes, requiring a 1x30m rope. The return walk takes 30 minutes.
