Canal de Magí K2 + Canal del Vent
The Canal de Magí K2 + Canal del Vent is a dry canyon combination in Els Ports. The approach takes 15 minutes from the marked parking area, following indications for Els Estrets, crossing the river, and ascending a faint path with cairns to Canal de Magí. Canal de Magí is a short, accessible channel, equipped with T-pegs and a lifeline for the first 15m, though in March 2023, only a fixed rope remained. After exiting, a traverse leads to Canal del Vent, which starts with loose earth among trees. The Canal del Vent features 5 closely spaced rappels, with the longest being 35m. The first rappel (10m) is optional, from an anchorless tree, to secure passage through a decomposed channel. Anchors are well-installed stainless steel parabolts. No wetsuit is needed. The return walk is 10 minutes. No escape routes are mentioned.
