Canal dels Arrossegats
The Canal dels Arrossegats – Cova dels Mistos route in Montserrat offers a 45-minute approach from the Masía El Castell parking area, following tracks and trails past landmarks like El Timbaler and El Gerro. The descent is short, around 45 minutes, and primarily involves downclimbing with three short sections of knotted ropes, none longer than 5m. The canyon is generally wide and easy to navigate. Near the end, the Cova dels Mistos, a small cave, can be explored by deviating into the dense forest to the left. The route concludes with a final 28m rappel, anchored by a parabolt and a spit with a purple cord. The return walk is a quick 15 minutes.
