Canal Mika + Barranco del Rincón del Olvido o Teular

The approach to Canal Mika and Rincón del Olvido takes 40 minutes from Confrides, involving a steep climb on a track that becomes a GR trail. The route starts with a short, easy crest with 4 parabolts for protection. The descent of Canal Mika includes five rappels: R1 (4m) to a narrow ledge, R2 (15m) vertical, R3 (20m) on a loose ramp, R4 (25m) on a ramp, and R5 (10m), which can be downclimbed. Caution is advised due to loose rock, especially from R2 onwards. Anchors are in good condition, using parabolts and chemical bolts. No wetsuit is required. The return walk is 25 minutes. This canyon can be combined with Barranco del Rincón del Olvido, which follows directly after Canal Mika. Requires two 30m ropes.
