The approach is lengthy, taking 2.5-3 hours from the Sadernes parking area. It involves a long walk along a track, crossing the river multiple times, passing sandbags for the Sant Aniol refuge, and continuing to the Ermita de Sant Aniol d'Aguja. From there, follow yellow and red markers, ascending a steep zigzag path called Les Canals. The descent covers 1550 m with 16 rappels, the longest being 19 m. The canyon is equipped with chemical bolts. A full wetsuit is recommended due to the aquatic nature. The return walk is 1.5-2 hours. The route is rated v3-a2-III, with a total vertical drop of 220 m.
