The approach to Castillejos de Luna is a short 3-minute walk from the parking area near Pizarra. The descent begins with a somewhat hidden 12m rappel, followed by a 4m downclimbable drop. The second 12m rappel is sloped, leading to another 12m rappel with some verticality. The canyon then features a 28m rappel, reached via a short rope handline, which is quite enclosed. The penultimate rappel is a small 4m drop into an avoidable pool. The final and longest rappel is 42m, offering the most impressive part of the canyon. Anchors are generally parabolts, but some may be loose; carrying spare hangers and nuts is recommended. The return walk is 45 minutes, or 20 minutes with a car shuttle. The route is equipped with parabolts, but some anchors may need attention. The rock can be loose, especially at the start.
