Canal del Cavall Bernat Inferior Combinación

This dry canyon, located in Monistrol de Montserrat, offers 7 rappels with the longest being 20m. The approach is very short, just 5 minutes down the road from the parking area. The descent takes about 2 hours and features natural anchors, parabolts, and fixed ropes, some of which are old. The route includes a 20m rappel, followed by a 6m drop, and then several downclimbs and a long ramp equipped with old ropes. Further rappels include a 12m, an 8m with a fixed rope, and two more 20m rappels near the funicular bridge. Caution is advised on the last rappel due to potential rockfall. There is one escape route. The return walk is only 5 minutes. The canyon is rated v3-a1-II and requires two 20m ropes.
