Continue past the end of Barranco Gordo until a blue arrow on a left curve indicates leaving the track. A 2-minute walk leads to the canyon's start, taking about 10 minutes total. This aquatic canyon (a2) features 6 rappels over 450m, with the longest being 20m. Anchors are stainless steel parabolts. The descent begins with a 5m rappel, followed by a 6m rappel with a handrail, then a 12m rappel into a narrow section. A 15m rappel in a winding channel precedes the 20m main rappel, exiting the narrows, and a final 5m rappel. A 2x20m or 1x40m rope is sufficient, and a full wetsuit is recommended depending on water flow. The descent takes 1 hour, and the return is a straightforward 10-minute walk back to Liri via a marked track. Escape routes are available throughout the canyon.
