Barranc Cova Pintada por Toll de Brossa

The approach starts from Mas Barberans, following a track to a parking area. From there, a 1.5-hour hike leads along Barranc de Llorer, then steeply uphill, passing log ladders at Escarrissó de Barretes. After reaching Coll de Morralets, follow red paint marks for Cova Pintada, then leave the path to descend cross-country to the canyon bed. This canyon is dry (a1) and features 13 rappels, with the longest being 60 meters. The route is equipped with parabolts. The descent involves downclimbing several sections before reaching the first rappel. A 2x60m rope is required, and a wetsuit is not necessary. After the 4-hour descent, a short 20-minute return walk leads back to the car. There is one escape route available during the descent.
