Barranc Esqueis de Ravionet
The Barranc Esqueis de Ravionet requires a car shuttle. The lower car is left near a quarry 6km from La Celler de Ter. The upper car is parked after a tight turn off a track from Sant Martí Sacalm. The 1-hour approach follows tracks past Can Bernat, then descends off-track to the canyon bed, potentially requiring a machete to clear vegetation. The descent features 12 rappels over 700m, with the longest being 58m. The first rappel (15m) can be downclimbed if dry. Rappel 2 (15m) is over vegetated ledges, and Rappel 3 is 30m. Anchors include bolts, spits, trees, and rock bridges. The canyon is mostly dry (a1). A 2x60m rope is needed, and a full wetsuit is optional. There are no escape routes. The return walk is a quick 15 minutes.
