Estrets de Castellar
Estrets de Castellar is a short, aquatic canyon near Castellar del Vallès, ideal for a quick descent with water. The approach is only 5 minutes from the parking, leading under a bridge to the first rappel. The canyon features four rappels, the longest being 15m, and requires two 20m ropes and a full wetsuit. The descent includes a 6m overhanging rappel into a deep pool (jumpable with sufficient water), a short 3m rappel (also jumpable), and a third rappel in a section of narrow gorges. The final rappel is a large toboggan that can be repeated. Installations are in good condition, re-equipped in 2020. After the last rappel, the return walk is a quick 15 minutes, involving climbing over pallets and passing through gates to reach the car park.
