Torrent de la Font de la Coves + Torrent de la Font del Moro

This route combines Torrent de la Font de les Coves and Torrent de la Font del Moro, near Santa Cecília in Monistrol de Montserrat. The approach is a short 5-minute walk up a track from the parking area, leading to a torrent with a wooden railing where the descent begins. The first section, Font de les Coves, is typically dry, while Font del Moro usually has water. The descent features 6 rappels, with the longest being 18m. The first three rappels (10m, 18m, 12m) are rigged from trees with maillons. The fourth rappel (10m) is the most characteristic, offering options: two parabolts with a ring on the left, or a block with a sling and maillon on the right, allowing you to avoid getting wet. No wetsuit is needed, and 2x20m ropes are sufficient. The return walk takes 30 minutes.
