Barranc d’en Fort + Barranc de la Llúdriga

The Barranc d’en Fort is approached in 40 minutes from Capafonts. From the road near the bridge, follow a track, then turn right and immediately left, following GR marks. Continue straight at track crossings, then turn left at a bifurcation towards Roques de Sant Humit, descending to the streambed where the waterfall is visible. The descent is short, featuring a single 22m vertical rappel over an interesting tufa formation. This marks the end of the canyon's interest. Anchors are good parabolts. The canyon is usually dry, though the Riu de l’Horta nearby often has shallow, clean pools. This canyon requires two 50m ropes and takes about 15 minutes to descend, with a 20-minute return walk. No wetsuit is needed. It can be combined with Barranc de la Llúdriga (Cova de les Gralles).
