
Barranco Freser Inferior
The Barranco Freser Inferior, located near Queralbs, is an aquatic canyon with 2 rappels, the longest being 8m. The 30-minute approach involves walking up a track past the Daió Hydroelectric Plant, crossing a bridge, and continuing for 600m to a path that descends into the canyon. A full wetsuit is essential. The descent starts with a 3m jump from a large rock, followed by fun toboggans, including one that launches sideways. The first rappel is a short 3m drop. The second, 8m rappel, can be jumped into a pool or rappelled from multiple points via a handrail. Anchors are equipped with bolts. An escape route is available. The return walk takes 15 minutes. A single 20m rope is sufficient. Note that during summer, there may be a fee to access the area.
