Torrent del Jou Combinación
The Torrent del Jou is a dry canyon with a short 10-minute approach from the parking area, following the watercourse to the first rappel. The descent includes six rappels, with the longest being 30m, and takes about 2 hours. The route features rappels from trees and bolted anchors. The first rappel is 15m from a tree. After an open section, a 19m rappel from hazelnut trees avoids eroded ground. A short 8m rappel follows, leading to a spectacular 30m rappel with a vertical section. Escape routes are available. The return walk is 40 minutes. No wetsuit is needed, and a 2x30m rope is sufficient. Anchors are a mix of parabolts, chemical bolts, and trees.
