Gorga de Ransol
The Gorga de Ransol is a short and aquatic canyon, well-equipped with chemicals and parabolts. The approach from the Shell station before Tarter takes 15 minutes, following a path towards Ransol and then right at a stone wall to the bridge where the canyon begins. A full wetsuit and two 20m ropes are needed. The descent starts with downclimbs, followed by a 15m rappel from a large chemical anchor. Subsequent rappels include a 10m drop with an optional chain handrail, a 12m rappel into a shallow pool, a 4m optional rappel on a ramp, an 8m rappel into a pool, an 11m rappel, a 9m rappel, and a final 8m rappel from a block into a pool. The canyon is short and simple, with escapes possible at any point. The return is very quick, taking only 1 minute to reach the parking area by exiting to the right. This canyon is suitable for beginners and offers a beautiful setting.
