Rasa de Capdevila

Rasa de Capdevila is a dry canyon with 9 rappels, the longest being 35m, equipped with stainless steel parabolts. The 1-hour approach involves navigating through fields and tracks, following stone cairns and green paint marks, with a final steep ascent to the canyon's start. The first rappel is 14m, requiring a short downclimb to reach the anchor, with shallow pools easily avoidable. The second rappel is 20m, also starting with a short downclimb. The canyon is generally dry, so no wetsuit is needed, and it can be descended year-round. Several escape routes are available throughout the course. A 2x40m rope is required. Access is from Solsona via C-462 towards Sant Llorenç de Morunys, turning left at KM11.5 towards the ETAP water treatment plant, where parking for two cars is available. The descent takes about 2.5 hours, followed by a 15-minute return walk.
