
Rasa de Trasserra + Rasa de Runers
The Rasa de Trasserra and Rasa de Runers canyons, near Capolat, can be combined for a longer descent. Access is from KM 134.6 of the C-26, following a track suitable for cars to a four-way junction. Take the middle path for about 3 km to the Runers bridge, where limited parking is available. For Rasa de Trasserra, a 10-minute approach involves following cairns from a red-painted stone on the track to the streambed, then 50m to the first rappel. It features 9 rappels, the longest being 16m, over 325m of course. Rasa de Runers starts directly from the parking area, navigating initial brambles, and has 4 to 6 rappels, with the longest at 15m. Both canyons have excellent anchors, re-equipped in October 2019. Descent for Trasserra is 1.5 hours, and Runers is also 1.5 hours. A shorty wetsuit is recommended. The return walk for both is 30 minutes. Two 20m ropes or one 40m rope are needed. There is one escape route for each canyon.
