Salt del Fleix
Salt del Fleix is a vertical canyon with a short 20-minute approach from the Fleix village parking, following a track and then a zigzag path to the entrance. It is usually dry but can carry significant water after rains, requiring a full wetsuit. The descent features 9 rappels. The first (7m) protects access to a 19m hanging rappel, which has space for only two people. The third rappel, the longest and most aesthetic at 39m, ends in a large pool. Subsequent rappels include an 8m ramp, a 12m slide with slippery rock, an 11m ramp, and a 12m rappel to two pools with a chain handline. Anchors are parabolts. Escape routes are available. The return walk is 40 minutes. This canyon offers a varied and aesthetic descent, especially when wet.
