Follow the track and yellow markers, crossing the river multiple times, then ascend past the Sant Aniol d'Aguja hermitage to the Collet de Clarioles, and continue with airy traverses and scrambles to the canyon bed. The descent features 14 rappels over 700 meters, with the longest being 30-45 meters. Anchors are excellent, equipped with parabolts and chemical hangers, plus several fixed handlines. The first rappel is 9m into a pool. The canyon typically has water in its pools, requiring a full wetsuit. The route is committing, with one escape route available. After the 3-hour descent, a 1.5-hour return walk completes the circuit. This canyon is regulated, so check access requirements before planning your trip.
