Barranc Sant Ponç o Rasa del Portell
The Sant Ponç or Rasa del Portell canyon, near Perles, offers a short and easy descent with 8 rappels, the longest being 16m. The approach is just 1 minute from the parking area, located 300m past Perles and before a tunnel. Park on the left where two cars fit. The first rappel of 16m descends directly from a bridge. The remaining rappels are short, mostly 3-5m, with some small downclimbs and toboggans leading into pools. Anchors are generally well-equipped with chemical bolts and rings. A 2x20m rope is recommended. The return walk takes about 10 minutes. This canyon is suitable for beginners due to its short duration and moderate difficulty.
