The Barranco de Soler is a dry, urban canyon in Alcoy, with a short 10-minute approach. It features 10 rappels, the longest being 35m, and requires two 40m ropes. The first rappel can be avoided by going right, or fractionated at 15m. The descent includes a 20m rappel, a 5m downclimbable toboggan, and a 10m rappel into a pothole with a fixed handline. Further rappels of 14m, 10m (which requires a climb back up), 6m, and 28m follow. Anchors are generally well-equipped with chemical bolts, chains, and double rings. There are two escape routes. The return walk is a quick 5 minutes.
