Barrancs Els Sots Feréstecs de Montmany

The Sots Feréstecs de Montmany canyon offers a short 5-minute approach from the BV-1489 road near Montmany. The route is divided into several sections, starting with Torrent de l’Ullà, which features four rappels from trees, ranging from 7m to 10m, some leading into a small amphitheater. Following a link section with fixed ropes (some unnecessary), you enter Torrent de la Rovira. This section begins with a 12m rappel into a pool, which can be avoided with skill, and an 11m rappel from a spit anchor. The canyon is equipped with cords and parabolts, and the longest rappel is 16m. The descent takes about 3 hours, with a quick 10-minute return. This canyon is suitable for those looking for a relatively short and accessible route with multiple rappels.
