Barranco Tajo de Ronda Integral
The Tajo de Ronda Integral canyon offers a scenic descent beneath Ronda's famous bridges. The approach is either a 5-minute walk from the Albergue Los Molinos parking or a 40-minute descent from Ronda center via the Arab Baths. A full wetsuit and two 40m ropes are needed. The route passes under two bridges, through a cave on the left bank, and past an old building with a unique 'room of secrets'. After a dam with sediments, the first rappel is a 35m drop on the right into a pool with a large rock, requiring caution, especially with high water. This is followed by a 7m rappel, two 4m rappels (one optional and hard to spot), and a final 3m rappel. Installations are generally good. The return walk is a very short 5 minutes.
