The route involves exposed scrambling sections, requiring a helmet, before reaching the canyon head from Peñagalera summit. This dry canyon (a1) features 11 rappels over 1000m, with a significant 110m main rappel. Anchors include spits, parabolts, and trees. The descent begins with a 25m rappel, followed by a 30m and a 15m rappel. The 110m rappel is central, with a hanging stance for a maximum of 3 people. A 2x60m rope plus a 110m rope are required, and a wetsuit is not necessary. The descent takes 5 hours, and a 20-minute return walk leads back to the car. Escape routes are available.
