Torrent de Casadevall o Salt de Ripol
The Torrent de Casadevall, also known as Salt de Ripol, is a short and vertical canyon near Rupit. The approach takes an hour along a paved track, passing Salt de Sallent, then continuing on a main track near the cliff edge. After passing Torrent de Gravet and the rural house Can Miquel, you enter the stream bed to reach the first rappel. The descent features three rappels. The first is 10 m from the ground, with two somewhat oxidized parabolts. The second, 29 m and fully suspended, requires a 3 m pendulum to reach the third rappel. This last rappel is 80 m long, equipped with five parabolts. Rope protectors are recommended due to friction. Anchors consist of parabolts and chemical bolts, though some are oxidized. The second rappel's cordino should be replaced. The canyon is rated v5-a1-II, with a total descent of 120 m over 50 m of course. A 2x80m rope is needed, but no wetsuit.
