Torrent de la Coma del Gispet

The Torrent de la Coma del Gispet is a long and sustained canyon, starting with a 1-hour approach via the Queralbs rack railway to Núria, then along the Camí dels Enginers. The route is currently unequipped and prohibited, but historically featured parabolt anchors. The descent includes 20 rappels, with the longest being 55m, requiring two 60m ropes. The first rappel is about 10m, followed by several others between 10m and 15m, often over grassy slopes. A shorty wetsuit is recommended due to the aquatic sections. This canyon has escape routes and a 45-minute return walk. It is a demanding route with a significant vertical drop of 700m over 1650m of course length.
