Torrent de Forat Negre
The approach to Forat Negre from Pla de la Barraca parking is 5 minutes, with fixed ropes and cables leading to the head. The first of 11 rappels can be downclimbed. The route includes a vertical rappel into a pool, several 15m rappels, and a spectacular overhang rappel inside a cave. After exiting the cave, the canyon becomes easier with a few short rappels remaining. Installations are well-maintained. A 30m rope is needed. The return walk takes 40 minutes. Exit the canyon via stone stairs on the left, heading towards Cal Periques farmhouse, then follow the road back.
