Rasa dels Tossals
The Rasa dels Tossals canyon, usually dry, is approached in 1 hour from the BV-4241 road near Berga. The path follows a track, crossing a river, then becomes a steeper trail with red paint marks, eventually flanking right to a wider track with blue and white SL marks before descending to the streambed. The descent involves 8 rappels, starting with a 15m rappel from a boxwood, followed by a cleaner 20m rappel. Subsequent rappels include a 10m improvised drop, a 20m rappel past a fallen tree, and a 13m rappel into a dirty, uncomfortable channel. Anchors are a mix of bolts and natural features. This canyon requires two 25m ropes and takes about 2 hours to descend, with a 20-minute return walk. No wetsuit is needed as it is typically dry.
