Barranc de la Vinyassa o Cèrvoles Combinación

The Barranc de la Vinyassa or Cèrvoles is a highly aquatic canyon with 11 rappels, the longest being 17m, featuring excellent chemical anchors. The 15-minute approach from Cèrvoles involves descending cross-country towards the streambed. This canyon is renowned for its numerous toboggans and is best visited in spring or after rains, as it can dry up. The descent starts with a 7m rappel into a shallow pool, followed by a 15m rappel down a long ramp. The canyon then transitions into a series of toboggans, interspersed with short rappels and downclimbs. A full wetsuit is essential due to the aquatic nature of the route. Key features include a 15m rappel, more toboggans, and a final 17m rappel. There is one escape route available. The descent takes about 3 hours, with a very short 5-minute return walk to the car.
