Barranc de Volendins is a dry canyon with two approach options: a 1-hour walk from Bot if you don't have a 4x4, or a 10-minute walk from a 4x4 parking spot. The descent takes about 2 hours and features six rappels, with the longest being 35m. The route begins with a short 10m rappel into an avoidable pool, immediately followed by a surprising 30m free-hanging rappel. The third rappel is 35m. Anchors are stainless steel chemical bolts. Escape routes are possible. The return walk is 45 minutes. No wetsuit is required, and a 2x45m rope is recommended.
