Cala Santanyí in the Balearic Islands is a versatile climbing area offering sport, bouldering, and psicobloc. The sport and bouldering routes are on a rock platform just above the water, featuring 'marés' rock, a mix of limestone and sandstone with orange hues. The climbing involves vertical or slightly overhanging slabs and some pronounced roofs, with grades from IV+ to 8b. With south, southeast, and southwest aspects, the crag gets sun most of the day, but summer climbing is possible by combining it with refreshing swims. Be sure to identify safe exit points from the water, especially if the sea is rough. Psicobloc is available on overhanging sections, and bouldering on large blocks, some of which are high enough to be climbed with a rope. The routes are short, up to 15 meters, making it ideal for a day of climbing and swimming. Es Pontàs, a natural arch with challenging psicoblocs, is also nearby.
