El Batanejo in Villalgordo del Júcar is an initiation crag with 38 sport routes, mostly between V and 6b, making it suitable for beginners. The limestone walls, over 20 meters high, are set in the scenic "Hoces del Batanejo" by the Júcar river. Divided into eight sectors, the crag is known for its abundant birdlife. Be aware that most routes lack visible names. The first sector, La Carrasca, has a 5-minute approach.
