The Gruppo del Sella, in the Italian Dolomites, is a vast limestone massif with vertical walls, offering an excellent introduction to Dolomitic climbing. It features generally short approaches and a variety of routes suitable for all levels, though only 2 routes are currently listed in our database, graded V and V+. The crag is surrounded by stunning landscapes, with large meadows that transform into ski slopes in winter. The First and Third Sella Towers offer climbing with southwest and west aspects respectively, with approaches around 30-40 minutes. The area is easily accessible by road via several mountain passes.
