Mahimón, in Sierra de María-Los Vélez Natural Park, offers mostly multi-pitch climbing on compact, grippy limestone. While there are some sport routes, the area is known for its well-equipped multi-pitch lines, with some classic trad options available. The crag faces southwest, making it best suited for cooler seasons, as summer can be very hot. Winter can be cold, so be prepared. Access is regulated due to bird nesting, so permits are required and should be obtained in advance.
