Penya Negra de Xeresa, despite its name, is a white limestone wall in Xeresa, facing northwest. The rock is compact and high quality, offering varied climbing with pockets, flakes, crimps, overhangs, and dihedrals. It features 2 multipitch routes graded 6b+ and 6c+. This crag is ideal for summer as it receives sun only in the late afternoon. The approach is about 20 minutes. Most routes are fully equipped with bolts and many are rappelable, making it a good option for longer climbs in warmer months.
