Altea o Calpe, Pais Valencià

2 routes · 8b–8c

Racó del Corb, near Altea or Calpe, is an impressive cliff at the end of a cove where the Mascarat ravine meets the sea. It's known for deep water soloing (psicobloc) and offers a few interesting multipitch routes with an exceptional, intimidating atmosphere directly above the sea. The limestone rock, though it might appear mediocre in places, is generally very compact and grippy, though some whiter sections can be more brittle. Most routes are re-equipped with bolts, but some may still require trad gear. Grades range from 6a+ to 6b+.
